About Me

Currently Roaming...

Hello! Welcome to my About Page.

I was raised in San Antonio, TX after my mom was stationed here in 1998. Growing up with my older sister, we lived on Randolph Base for 4 years until my mom married my step-dad in 2001. Occasionally, my sister and I would travel to Austin to see our dad, but that was the most complicated my childhood ever got. After my younger brother was born, my family moved off base in the far west side until I graduated high school in 2015 from Brennan High.

I immediately went into college afterward, graduating during the thick of COVID in May 2020. After college, I drew here and there, but with the demands of a long hour minimum wage job, I didn't have the time to continue with what I love to do. After seven months, I ended up volunteering for AmeriCorps NCCC. It was mostly to find my way, or find something that I enjoyed that wasn't art, but after 6 out of the 10 month service, I found I was financially unable to finish my service and ended up returning home just at the turn of 2022. I went back to work as a low wage worker and then switched over to instructing for summer camps and eventually subbing for charter schools in the area.

While I love both of my roles, I want to do art. Creating characters, their backgrounds, personalities, and everything in between is what I want to do. And if that means learning new skills on the fly, well....I ain't an old dog yet.
